We have ensured the success of large-scale projects in complex ecosystems for over 15 years. Our clients include Videotron, Fizz, Place des Arts, Savoir.Media, Union des Artistes, Lasik MD, Mattel and Montreal’s Children’s Hospital.

Symetris’ objective is to double its revenues within the next two years. Reporting directly to the CEO, the marketing director (new position) will contribute to this vision by being accountable for lead generation results, Symetris’ brand recognition among its target market, and of expansion into new geographic markets (Ontario/USA) – all this informed by progressive, measurable data.


Responsibilities:

  • Ensure marketing leadership within the board of directors
  • Ensure execution of the marketing plan
  • Define and measure essential marketing KPIs and extract actionable insights
  • Set up the structure that will allow orchestration/tracking of marketing investments
  • Define budget allocation and measure ROI
  • Execute lead generation tactics including content marketing and SEO/SEM (with the help of partners)
  • Identify and maintain partnerships that will contribute to results
  • Complete market research and gain competitive intelligence in order to build business cases for future investments that will focus efforts towards the right clients and partners
  • Collaborate with the sales team to maximize prospect conversion
  • Contribute to employer branding with the HR team
  • Collaborate with the production and innovation departments to add value to the client experience


Required aptitudes

  • Book smart: Bachelor’s degree in marketing
  • Street smart: 7+ years of experience of which at least 5 years in marketing management, ideally in the marketing or technology industries
  • Leader: Accountability, communication skills and prioritization
  • Strategist: Analytical and strategic, able to connect each initiative to a global vision
  • Data nerd: Expert with dashboards, martech tools and CRMs
  • Pragmatic: Focused on the tight collaboration between sales and marketing
  • Go-getter: Not afraid to get out “into the field” to extract real live insights
  • Innovator: Proposes new ideas based on client insights and market trends
  • Manager: Experienced with budget management and project management
  • Intrapreneur: Ownership and sense of initiative, motivated by work in a growing small business
  • Bilingual: Fluent in French and English (written and spoken)
