Redesign and development of an essential website for researchers and institutions related to genomics studies

The Public Population Project in Genomics (P3G) and Society is a not-for-profit consortium that provides the international research community with access to the expertise, resources and innovative tools for health and social sciences research. P3G brings the genomics and health research community together via conferences summer schools as well as online through the Observatory - a publicly accessible knowledge database.

P3G encompassed several isolated websites, each with its own identity and functionnality, and mandated Symetris to integrate and redesign these presences into a single web portal. We built the new website's architecture around Drupal - including the site structure and permissions associated to members and users. P3G can now display information to specific research groups or to its board of directors.

Several other features were added, such as the management of "Biobanks", news and events, online "BRIEF" proposals (research documents) and an integration with Mailchimp for sending newsletters to the community.

We mandated Chic Type Création for the design of this website.

Launch Date : September 2012
